The accolade, judged by end user attendees, was bestowed upon ClarusIPC Plus+ for consistent product advancements including Smart Link Integration (SLI) for HP Network Node Manager i-series software, enhanced configuration & change management, Unity inventory & change reporting , and support of the latest version of Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

The competition was open to CIPTUG member and non-member IPT vendors, as well as CIPTUG end user members. The program offered a rare opportunity for application development teams worldwide to showcase the latest uses of IP technology, and be judged by the very people who buy and use the technology when it first hits the market. The purpose of the Application Bake-Off competition for end users and vendors is to:
- Drive innovative application development for Unified Communications
- Learn how other customers have developed and implemented applications enabling them to meet business goals, and gain a competitive advantage
- Talk to other users, Cisco Partners and engineers to learn what applications can be developed for their converged network
- Learn more about return on investment for Unified Communications solutions and applications
As further validation that Clarus Systems was well-deserving of this prestigious award, the company recently announced that ClarusIPC Plus+ has been certified as a Smart Link Integration (SLI) for HP Network Node Manager i-series software.
The integrated solution, ClarusIPC Plus+ SLI for HP NNMi, maximizes Cisco IP Telephony performance by monitoring end-user calls for problems such as call setup failures, poor voice quality, fraud or incorrect routing. When encountered, SNMP traps are forwarded to HP Network Node Manager i automatically creating actionable incidents.
